The CWAC team opened day one for the Age Group State meet with two state titles.  The first came from Kendrick Xie who won the 10&U boys 50 breaststroke and set a new team record.  The 800 free relay of Reilly Shields, Spencer Stoneberg, Jesus Juarez and Aaron Payne captured a state title by over 10 seconds setting a new team record.  Shield's leadoff time was a team record.  The 10&U boys 200 free relay of Kendrick Xie, Matthew Fernandez, Tristan Stevens and Cammeron Mabon were state state runner ups shattering the old team record by 6 seconds.  Will Davis finished 3rd in the 100 back and Jesus Juarez was 3rd in the 200 fly both setting new team records.

Top 10 individual performances include Isaac Davis 100 free (team record) and 50 back, Nina Mantich 100 back, Aaron Payne 100 free (team record) and the 10&U girls 200 free relay of Bahda Hoang, Yuyu Katahira, Jenny Gong and Madison Schiml (team record).  Additional individual point scorers include Connor Carr (50 back), Karen Juarez (200 fly), Reilly Shields (200 fly / 100 free), Spencer Stoneberg (100 free), Jesus Juarez (100 free), Cammeron Mabon (100 free), Will Davis (100 free) and Tristan Stevens (100 free).  CWAC is in 5th place after day 1.  Keep up the fast swimming!
